Atlanta, GA — Eddie Brantley, a 45-year old man from Atlanta, Georgia who has quite a lengthy jail record, was arrested once again on Thursday. This time, for his 70th arrest, it was after police spotted him driving a stolen car.
The car was reportedly stolen around 7 p.m. when its owner left the machine running outside a business while they ran inside.
After three hours, Brantley was found driving the car along Broad Street in northwest Atlanta. He was stopped by police and arrested on charges of theft by receiving stolen property.
Brantley’s jail records show that he has previously been arrested for armed robbery, burglary, aggravated assault, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Meanwhile, police reminded people to remove their car keys and lock their car doors when going out to prevent such incidents.
