Florida Man Arrested After Killing His Own Brother Over a Dispute About Money

Deerfield Beach, FL — Kobe Bussie Jr., a 35-year old man from Florida who shot and killed his own brother over a dispute about money, has been arrested. He was charged with second-degree murder.

Police responded to a report of shooting at Bussie’s home last week. When they arrived, they found Bussie’s younger brother, 30-year old Brian Anderson, suffering from a gunshot wound.

Anderson was taken to Broward Health North Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

According to reports, Bussie was with Anderson and another friend when the two brothers got into an argument about money. It apparently got so heated that Bussie shot his own brother, killing him.

Bussie is now being held without bond at the Broward Main Jail in Deerfield Beach.

Bussie’s records reveal that he was also convicted in 2001 of robbery, burglary, third-degree grand theft, and solicitation to commit armed robbery.
