5-Year Old Killed in Drive-By Shooting While Making TikTok Videos With His Dad

Jordan Allen Jr, boy killed in drive by shooting

Houston, TX — Jordan Allen Jr., a 5-year old boy from Texas, has sadly died after being shot by a stray bullet from a drive-by shooting while he was quarantining at home with his father making TikTok videos.

Amidst the stay-at-home orders and social distancing directives, the young boy had been making TikTok videos with his father, Jordan Allen Sr., to ease his boredom during the coronavirus pandemic.

The incident happened last week when they were playing at the balcony of their apartment. His father stepped away for a bit when suddenly gunshots were fired and Jordan was shot.

“Everybody ran in the house and the kids ran in the house, so I ran to the porch, and then I see my son laying on the ground holding his head, asking for my help,” Allen told ABC 13.

Jordan was then taken by ambulance to the local hospital where he was put on life support. He died after he was taken off life support a few days later.

His father was devastated by the tragic death of his son who he described as the “happiest child in the world” and shares the joy to everyone.

Meanwhile, the investigation regarding the shooting is still ongoing, according to the Houston Police Department. Police confirmed Jordan was not the intended target and said they are locating 3 women to question about the incident.
