Leading Black-Owned Tour Company in New Orleans Upgrades Its Experience

Upgraded Black Heritage Jazz Tour in New Orleans

Nationwide — Mikhala Iversen Afropean, founder of All Bout Dat Tours which produces the five-star rated ‘Black Heritage & Jazz Tours’ in New Orleans, says that her company is now offering a more exclusive and personalized experience.

She comments, “We decided to upgrade and downsize our transportation from 24 to 6 persons. Less is more, and in these challenging times, we choose to adjust due to concerns about the pandemic. In addition, we are also putting forth an effort to leave a more conscious environmental footprint.”

Larger group tours, however, are still available for private groups, family reunions, and custom tours. In addition, tourists who book the tour will still be able to enjoy the same truthful, empowering, and educational narrative hosted by Mikhala herself. She comments, “We have not reduced the tour’s duration or our overall service.”

About
Mikhala, who is of African American and Danish origin, founded All Bout Dat Tours LLC in 2013 after deciding to create what she could not find: An African American tour of Black life in New Orleans, Louisiana’s most popular city for tourists.

Until now, her company is still the ONLY tour company in New Orleans that brings all of its visitors to the city’s local Black-owned businesses daily!
