Leading Urban Etiquette Association Makes Girls Feel Valued

— NAUEP Launches “Girls First Pearls” During National Etiquette Week —

Girls First Pearls

Dallas, TX — The nation’s leading etiquette association serving urban youth, the National Association of Urban Etiquette Professionals (NAUEP), has announced the launch of “Girls First Pearls” – a national initiative to give 1,000 strands of pearls to girls residing in under served communities. The initiative began during National Etiquette Week, May 9-14, 2016 and will continue until the NAUEP National Etiquette Conference, July 15-16, 2016 in Dallas, TX.

Founded in 1997, National Etiquette Week is a week dedicated to bringing awareness to the need for civility throughout society. “At its core, etiquette is all about making others feel valued,” said Trenette Wilson (Lady T), award-winning author of The Code: Etiquette Life Hacks for Teens and NAUEP CEO and Founder. “Pearls are known as the standard for sophistication and elegance, which makes girls feel classy, confident and valued. In the words of Jacqueline Kennedy, ‘Pearls are always appropriate,’” continued Lady T.

All who see the need to make girls feel valued are invited to join by donating, giving a set of pearls to a girl or by taking a picture and posting it to your social media account.
