Nationwide — Jamie Foxx recently shared a shocking experience that left him hospitalized and unconscious for 20 days last year. At a Phoenix restaurant, the 56-year-old Academy Award-winning actor talked about how it all started with a simple headache.
Then, snapping his fingers, he added, “I was gone for 20 days. I don’t remember anything.”
According to Foxx, his journey through the medical emergency involved multiple doctors and treatments.
“So they told me, I’m in Atlanta, they told me — my sister and my daughter took me to the first doctor. They gave me a cortisone shot,” he explained.
“The next doctor said, ‘There’s something going on up there,'” he recalled, gesturing towards his head without elaborating further.
This isn’t the first time Foxx has touched on his health scare. Back in May 2023, he hinted at the incident in an Instagram video where he expressed gratitude to his loved ones and fans for their support during a challenging time.
While Foxx hasn’t disclosed the specific illness he battled, he did mention that it was life-threatening.
