Nationwide — Greg Stallworth, a regionally acclaimed author originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, is now the author of six published books. His latest book, A Dream UNDENIED, My Journey to the White House, tells the story of a young Black girl’s dream to become the first female President of the United States. Brooklyn Simpson, in her quest to hold the highest office in the land, has to overcome some of the most difficult obstacles and barriers in her journey to achieve her dream. There are obstacles and barriers such as gender bias, racism, sexism, and even threats to her life when she travels on the campaign trail. Brooklyn reaches out to America with her signature slogan, “It’s Time for a Change!”
After graduating with honors from Howard University and achieving her Jurist Doctorate Degree, Brooklyn makes one of the most delivering speeches in her efforts to change how we address economic, social, and health issues for individuals, families, and organizations across the country. In her famous speech, Brooklyn speaks out to the country and says, “Ask not what this country can do for you. As what Brooklyn Simpson, the first female President of the United States can do for this country.”
Author Greg Stallworth has been an advocate for women’s rights as it relates to their domestic and professional careers. Through his vision, Greg has written some of the most powerful inspirational stories related to women’s issues including Behind My Storm, a collection of inspirational stories of women who overcame life-threatening issues to survive. Greg also authored a stage performance titled A Mother’s Plea that was converted into a film short. Greg is currently on the board of trustees of the Positive Influence Team, a non-profit organization that provides services for youths and young adults, and D.A.M.M, a non-profit organization that reaches out to fathers and children. Greg’s goal with A Dream UNDENIED, My Journey to the White House is to encourage the black community, especially women to seek the highest level in their careers.
About the Author
Greg’s journey and vision of writing and publishing A Dream UNDENIED: My Journey to the White House started in 2019 when Greg had a vision of a female President of the United States. As a result, Greg produced a stage play titled Brooklyn, Real Time for a Change! Then in 2021, Greg teamed up with Cynthia K. Chenault Terry to write a fictional story titled A Dream UNDENIED, My Journey to the White House. This inspirational story led to an invitation to the 2023 Pacific Northwest Reading and Film Festival where the book was presented in a stage reading and very well received.
