Actor Quinton Aaron from “The Blind Side” Hospitalized After Coughing Up Blood

Quinton Aaron hospitalized

Nationwide — Quinton Aaron, best known for his role as Michael Oher in The Blind Side alongside Sandra Bullock, was hospitalized in Southern California after he woke up with a high fever and a blood-soaked cough.

Aaron underwent several tests and was diagnosed with Type A flu and pneumonia. The illness also triggered a migraine that lasted several days.

Fortunately, after starting antibiotics, Aaron’s condition improved, and he is no longer coughing up blood. He remains hopeful he will soon return home after receiving treatment through a PICC line.

“I feel optimistic I’ll be back on my feet in no time,” he told TMZ.

The actor had traveled to Laguna Hills for a performance and presentation in Orange County, but his illness forced him to cancel the event.

This isn’t Aaron’s first health scare. In 2019, he was hospitalized for a severe upper respiratory infection.
