“Not Every Woman” — A Bold, Intimate, and Timely Story of Sisterhood — Now Streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple TV

Not Every Woman film

NationwideNot Every Woman, a gripping new character-driven drama exploring the inner lives of four Black women, is now available to audiences worldwide on Amazon Prime and Apple TV. The film follows four Black women who bond over wine, laughter, and shared anxieties about America — only to uncover deeper truths that transform the way they see themselves, one another, and the world around them.

Not Every Woman stars: Omar Gooding (Baby Boy), Lodric Collins (The Oval), Erika Degraff (Chicago P.D.), Georgina Elizabeth Okon (Black Panther), Shannon Echols (Da Bottomz), and Jean Cecile Nadine (Jazzy Bells).

The film is written, directed, and produced by Dara Frazier, whose writing credits include series for Disney, HBO, and the holiday rom-com Catfsh Christmas. Frazier brings a sharp, emotional, and often humorous lens to modern womanhood, friendship, and navigating the American experience. She is a Detroit native and resident playwright at Towne Street Theatre, LA’s Premiere African-American Theatre Company.

“This film is a love letter to Black women and the conversations we have behind closed doors — honest, vulnerable, and often hilarious,” said writer-director Dara Frazier. “My hope is that audiences see themselves in these women, no matter who they are.”
