White House Doctor Explains President Trump’s Neck Rash

Nationwide — President Trump appeared at a Medal of Honor ceremony Monday with a visible red rash on his neck, sparking speculation online. The White House quickly clarified that it was caused by a prescribed skin cream, not a serious health issue.

Photographers captured the rash on the right side of Trump’s neck, prompting widespread questions on social media about his health. Fans and critics alike speculated, leading the White House to issue a statement to calm concerns.

Trump’s doctor, Sean Barbabella, confirmed the redness comes from a common preventive cream used for one week. He noted that the redness is expected to last a few weeks, but did not disclose the exact cream or how long Trump has been using it, according to the Associated Press.

This isn’t the first time Trump’s appearance has drawn attention. Over the past year, photos showed makeup on his hands covering bruises. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that the bruises result from frequent handshakes and long workdays.

Trump himself previously linked hand bruising to high doses of aspirin, taken as part of his cardiovascular care. Barbabella said the bruises were “minor soft tissue irritation” consistent with handshaking and aspirin use, while emphasizing that Trump remains in excellent overall health.

Even as the public watches closely, the White House maintains that Trump is following routine treatments and continues to be in good health, aiming to address concerns without revealing unnecessary medical details.
