Nationwide — Two women, Tatiana Jones and Latoriya Brown, who are from Flint, Michigan, have been arrested after a drug bust at a local daycare center. Police recovered cocaine and guns during a controlled buy operation.
According to Atlanta News First, Genesee County Sheriff Chris Swanson said the department’s GHOST team carried out a controlled buy at Fun N Some Daycare on Eckley Avenue in Michigan. The operation led officers to search the property.
During the search, investigators recovered about 3 ounces of cocaine along with two handguns. The findings formed the basis for multiple felony charges against the two women.
Tatiana Jones, the daycare licensee, faces two felony charges, including cocaine distribution and a weapons-related offense. Latoriya Brown, who worked at the day care, faces four felony charges. These include delivery or manufacturing of cocaine and three weapons charges.
Authorities said no children were present during the operation and stressed that no minors were put at risk. Records also show the daycare’s license had already been revoked in October 2025, months before the arrests.
