Nationwide — NBA star Tyrese Haliburton has addressed viral speculation about his dating life after online clips sparked debate about the people he is seen with in public. He explained the context behind the footage, pointed to his upbringing in Wisconsin, and clarified details about his long-term relationship with his fiancée, who is white.
The conversation began after a video circulated online showing Haliburton arriving at an event following a major international win. In the clip, he stepped out of a vehicle with his fiancée and several women, which quickly led to jokes and assumptions across social media about his personal life and preferences.
According to Basketball Network, Haliburton later responded to the discussion on the Come And Talk 2 Me podcast. He said the people in the video were not strangers or random companions, explaining, “So that video where you see me hop out of the car with a bunch of white girls, it’s her sister and all her friends from growing up. People are killing me, but these are just our people from growing up.”
He also said his background shaped his social circle. Haliburton was raised in Wisconsin, where he “grew up around all white people.” He said that the environment influenced many of his long-standing friendships and relationships.
Haliburton has been in a long-term relationship with Jade Jones, and the two got engaged in July 2025 after meeting at Iowa State University. Their relationship has often been referenced in discussions about his personal life online.
Off the court, Haliburton continues to prepare for his return with the Indiana Pacers after a major injury sidelined him for the 2025–26 season. While he works through recovery, he remains a frequent topic on social media, both for basketball and his life off the court.
