Ray J Admits Himself to the Hospital After Being Knocked Out in Boxing Match

Ray J knock out

Nationwide — Ray J checked himself into a Las Vegas hospital after a celebrity boxing match ended in a knockout loss. Doctors kept him under observation while they evaluated possible concussion symptoms and heart-related concerns following the fight.

Ray J competed against internet personality DeWayne Stevenson, known online as Supa Hot Fire, during the Adin Ross Brand Risk 14 event at UFC Apex. According to TMZ, the match ended early in the second round when Ray J was knocked out, with clips of the moment quickly spreading across social media.

After the event, Ray J was taken to a Las Vegas hospital, where he stayed for at least two days. Medical staff ran tests and monitored him closely, focusing on possible concussion symptoms and a slowed heart rate.

The outcome of the fight sparked an online debate. In a post-fight interview, Ray J said, “I thought we had a plan,” and added that both fighters ended up losing money. His comments fueled speculation online about whether the match was staged.

Event organizer Adin Ross later addressed the discussion during a livestream. He said the situation was being taken seriously and pointed out the unusually slow first round before the sudden second-round knockout.

Ray J has also dealt with health issues in recent months. He previously reported heart complications after a hospitalization for pneumonia and chest pain, and said doctors had warned him about reduced heart function earlier this year.

Despite those concerns, he continued training and promoted the boxing event heavily on social media leading up to the fight. As of now, his representatives have not released an update on his condition.
