Nationwide — Media tech entrepreneur Tina Redmond has officially launched TRACC Radio TV Studios in Los Angeles, California, a full digital media and technology production company offering app development, streaming service consultations, community workshops on technology and entertainment, and live pop-up activations. She is one of the few Black women to independently own, operate, and build her own audio and TV streaming services, along with a few signature apps based on her personal career in entertainment. For Tina, ownership was never just a business decision. It has always been a way of life.
Tina comments, “From a little girl in Inglewood to a woman with a global audience, I’m just scratching the surface. I’m building organically. This is a full-circle moment. I do this for the love of entertainment, to connect cultures worldwide, and to show our communities that the West Coast has everything to offer and then some.”
Formerly known as DJ Chic Chick and now recognized as TRACC The DJ, Tina launched her flagship app in Atlanta in 2021 before returning home to Los Angeles, where she expanded the brand. She is now broadcasting original mixes by herself, blending mainstream and independent artists across a cultural mix of genres, reaching listeners in 50+ countries worldwide. Featured on the app is her TRACC Radio podcast going behind the scenes of music and entertainment, recorded at the Hollywood suite or as a rooftop experience with a live audience. By owning her lane, Redmond has created an open door for artists to collaborate, gain exposure across her distribution partnerships, and for other streaming platforms to find a natural collaborator, not a competitor.
