Black Journalist, Educator, and Cultural Strategist Debuts New Book “Get the F** Out of America”

A 12-Point Plan for Black Women to Leave the Divided States, Build Wealth, and Live Their Best Lives

Get the F Out of America book by Phelena Napper

Nationwide — Phelena Napper, journalist, educator, cultural strategist, and founder of Black Broads Abroad, has announced the pre-order of her debut book, GTFOA of America: The Blueprint. The book arrives in the summer of 2026 at a moment of extraordinary urgency. The Black women’s exodus from the Divided States is no longer a fringe conversation — it is a political and cultural reckoning.

Napper left twenty years ago, long before the movement had a name, and has spent two decades building the archive that proves what she always knew: the 92 percent deserve a regulated nervous system — and there are countries on this earth that will offer them the safety, respect, and compensation they have always been owed. This book is her case for a deliberate, strategic, and permanent brain drain — and her roadmap for executing it.

A twenty-year expat across five continents, nine countries, and more than 50 solo destinations, Napper has moved with precision through every possible iteration of leaving. Her international life began with a study abroad program. A subsequent relocation, partially funded by alimony, took her to Brazil — the best life decision she has ever made.

From there, the blueprint only got sharper: freelance journalism for Huffington Post, Vibe Vixen, and The Grio; a direct recruitment by the Qatari Royal Family to implement a Performing Arts curriculum in Doha; hair salons on overseas U.S. military bases serving Black men and women of the armed forces; C-suite and fundraising executive roles for international organizations; real estate investments in Johannesburg and Mérida. She has done it through grief, burnout, and sabbatical alike — with precision, every single time.

She comments, “The Divided States no longer earns my labor, my joy, or my presence. And I have architectural proof that you can take your sovereignty back — no matter where you are starting from.”

Inside the Blueprint:

• The 12-Step Tactical Game Plan: a structured path from research to permanent exit
• Tactical Geo-Arbitrage: how to select locations where your dollar doesn’t just double or triple — it does somersaults
• The Archives of 50+: drawn from Napper’s interviews with more than 50 Black women already on the ground — aerospace engineers to exotic dancers, attorneys to hoteliers, comedians to educators, single mothers to queer women from Singapore to Saudi Arabia, Madagascar to Mexico

More Than Just a Book:

In addition to the book, Napper is offering the following:

• White Glove Exodus — application-only, high-touch concierge relocation partnership
• The Strategy Session: 1-on-1 Exodus Audit — 90 minutes
• GTFOA The Blueprint 12-Module Online Course
• The Sovereignty Bundle — full course + 12-month masterclass pass + community
• Monthly Masterclasses — standalone pass
