White Man Who Yelled Racial Slurs and Fired Shots at Black Family Reunion Already Out on Bond

Jeffrey Tyler Kinzer

Nationwide — Jeffrey Tyler Kinzer, a white man from Leesburg, Georgia, has been arrested after an incident at a Black family reunion, where authorities say he yelled racial slurs and even fired an AR-15-style rifle toward the gathering.

Lee County deputies responded on Sunday after multiple calls reported an active shooting on Autumn Leaf Drive in Leesburg. Officers arrived at the scene shortly after the reports and secured the area.

According to Atlanta Black Star, investigators said Kinzer was later charged with aggravated assault. Court records show he was released the following day after posting a $5,000 bond.

Keishana Wilson shared videos on TikTok that showed parts of the confrontation before law enforcement arrived. The clips documented the tense moments unfolding outside the home as the situation escalated.

Wilson said the family had gathered to celebrate her grandmother’s birthday during the final part of a reunion. She said the suspect drove by twice, shouting racial slurs and trying to provoke the group while they stayed at the celebration.

Authorities confirmed they responded to reports of a drive-by shooting connected to the incident. Investigators are still reviewing evidence as they work to establish a clear timeline of what happened.
