Nationwide — Dante Lee, a successful entrepreneur of more than 27 years, has launched a new initiative called Build Black Wealth, as an opportunity for aspiring Black entrepreneurs to build their own businesses while making a lasting impact in their communities. The program trains participants in just 30 minutes on how to start earning revenue in just one day by teaching basic financial literacy to individuals and families from underserved backgrounds, providing a simple business model that allows entrepreneurs to earn weekly income while helping others develop stronger money management skills.
The initiative is designed for people who want to become business owners but may not have a business idea, large startup capital, or previous entrepreneurial experience. Through Build Black Wealth, participants receive guidance on how to educate others on essential financial topics such as budgeting, saving, debt reduction, credit awareness, and long-term wealth-building strategies. Entrepreneurs are compensated weekly for their efforts and may also qualify for performance-based bonuses as they grow their business and expand their community impact.
Financial literacy remains one of the most powerful tools for creating economic opportunity. Many families in underserved communities have had limited access to financial education, making it more difficult to build savings, establish good credit, purchase homes, launch businesses, or prepare for retirement. By increasing access to practical financial knowledge, Build Black Wealth seeks to help close these gaps while encouraging greater financial independence across generations.
Beyond improving financial education, the initiative also aims to strengthen Black entrepreneurship. Rather than asking participants to invent a new product or service from scratch, the program provides a straightforward path to business ownership centered on education, service, and community empowerment. Participants have the opportunity to generate recurring income while making a meaningful difference in the lives of the people they serve.
Lee comments, “When more entrepreneurs are equipped to teach financial literacy, entire communities benefit. Families gain confidence in managing their finances, young people are introduced to healthy financial habits earlier in life, and local entrepreneurs create sustainable businesses rooted in service and leadership. The initiative reflects the belief that building wealth begins with knowledge, and that sharing that knowledge can create opportunities that extend far beyond a single household.”
His program, Build Black Wealth, is currently welcoming aspiring entrepreneurs who are passionate about helping others improve their financial future while building a business of their own. By combining entrepreneurship with financial education, the program aims to expand economic opportunity, strengthen underserved communities, and help create a future where financial literacy becomes a foundation for generational wealth.
