Two Black Women Mental Health Leaders Launch New Marketplace Featuring 70+ Resources From Licensed Clinicians of Color

Founded by Lisa Savage, LCSW, and Kim L. Knight, LMHC, COC Marketplace provides mental health professionals and the public with access to books, clinical tools, workbooks, and training created by licensed clinicians of color.

Lisa Savage and Kim Knight, Founders of COC Marketplace

Nationwide — Lisa Savage, LCSW, and Kim L. Knight, LMHC, co-founders of Clinicians of Color, have launched COC Marketplace. In this new online marketplace, resources are created by licensed mental health professionals of color. Available at cocmarketplace.com, the marketplace launches with more than 70 resources from over 25 founding sellers, bringing together clinical tools, professional training, books, workbooks, and self-help resources for both mental health professionals and the general public.

For Savage and Knight, the marketplace is an extension of the work they have built through Clinicians of Color, a national community of more than 26,000 mental health professionals of color. The new platform creates a dedicated space for clinicians to share the tools, knowledge, and resources they have developed through their professional work while making those resources easier for others to discover.

“Great resources come from people who deeply understand the communities they serve,” said Savage. “Our clinicians bring a perspective that’s been missing from the shelf — and everyone benefits from that, no matter who you are or who you sit across from in your practice.”

Resources for Mental Health Professionals

Mental health professionals can find practical resources for clinical practice, including therapy worksheets, client workbooks, supervision materials, practice-building tools, and clinical guides.

The marketplace also includes resources on specialized topics such as bariatric assessments and school-based mental health, as well as live professional training in approaches such as EMDR and sandtray therapy.
By bringing these materials together in one place, COC Marketplace gives clinicians another way to discover resources created by licensed colleagues who understand the realities of providing mental health care across diverse communities.

“This marketplace serves two communities,” said Knight. “Clinicians come for tools and trainings created by colleagues who’ve done the work, and the public comes for guidance they can trust because a licensed professional created every single item.”

Mental Health Resources for Individuals and Families

COC Marketplace was also designed for people outside the mental health profession. Parents, individuals, and families can browse books, workbooks, and self-guided resources written by licensed mental health professionals. Current offerings address topics such as helping children manage emotions, coping with anxiety, parenting, and supporting family well-being.

The goal is to give consumers access to mental health information created by professionals with both clinical expertise and an understanding of the communities they serve. Many of the marketplace’s launch resources are priced under $10, making professionally created mental health information more accessible to individuals, families, and clinicians looking for practical tools.

Creating New Opportunities for Clinicians of Color

In addition to connecting people with mental health resources, the marketplace creates another avenue for licensed clinicians of color to turn their professional knowledge into products, educational materials, and trainings that can reach audiences beyond their individual practices.

The first group includes more than 25 founding sellers. Applications for additional sellers are expected to open in September 2026. COC Marketplace is the newest initiative from Clinicians of Color, which provides professional development, training, networking, and an online directory for a national community of mental health professionals of color.
