Nationwide — “One bad decision can change your life.” That powerful message is at the heart of Jack’s Story, a thought-provoking new film that explores the pressures facing today’s youth and the life-changing consequences that can come from a single choice. Through Jack’s journey, the film tackles an issue families and communities face every day: young people navigating peer pressure, difficult circumstances, and critical moments when choosing what is right may not always be what is easy.
More than a film, Jack’s Story is a conversation starter, challenging young people to think beyond the moment and understand that the decisions they make today can shape their tomorrow.
The premiere will take place:
Sunday, November 8, 2026
5:15pm to 8:30pm
Chrysler Museum of Art
Norfolk, Virginia
Following its premiere, Jack’s Story will be available on Patreon beginning on 15 November 2026. https://www.patreon.com/c/MIGKontentHouse
With its timely message of accountability, decision-making, family, and hope, Jack’s Story seeks not only to entertain audiences, but to inspire meaningful conversations among youth, parents, educators, mentors, and communities. One choice. One moment. One life that can be changed forever.
About
Reck League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2012 by Executive Director Anthony Clary to create meaningful pathways for youth and young adults in under-resourced communities throughout Hampton Roads. Inspired by Clary’s lived experience growing up in Norfolk’s inner city, Reck League used a creative approach to create a “SCRIPTED” program that allowed young inner-city youth to learn scriptwriting, acting, lighting, sound, rigging, and videography. The outcome was a compelling film that shows the importance of making good decisions and how they can affect the outcome of one’s future.
Proceeds from this project directly support Reck League and its “SCRIPTED” program. You can also support by donating at: https://reckleague.org/donate/
