Award-Winning Marketing Expert, Author & Speaker Velma Trayham to be Honored by Houston Black Heritage Festival

Houston, TX — The Black Heritage Festival is the ultimate family friendly festival that commemorates the many contributions and influences African Americans and the African Diaspora have made in society. The festival is presented by Ebony Magazine and will feature award-winning marketing expert, author and speaker; Velma Trayham. Velma will be honored by the Houston based Black Heritage Festival on Saturday September 30, 2017 in Texas.

This year’s Black Heritage Festival and honor in Houston comes on the heels of the release of Velma’s latest book, When God Says Go. The new book is an encouraging leader’s handbook, especially for aspiring entrepreneurs. The book is helping people embrace their go moment; to step out in faith and not allow temporary failure to become permanent defeat.

Velma arrived from very humble beginnings, but always knew her destiny would be to help others to bring their dreams into reality, to walk in their gifts and callings.
