Big Tigger’s Wife Facing Years in Prison After Being Arrested for Kidnapping Charges

Alicia Denise Brown, Big Tigger's wife

Nationwide — Alicia Denise Brown, the wife of Atlanta radio host Big Tigger, has been arrested in Georgia after authorities said she was wanted on kidnapping-related warrants from Maryland. Her arrest was connected to a 2019 case involving the disappearance of a 10-year-old child.

According to TMZ, the Hart County Sheriff’s Office said deputies received a “be on the lookout” alert for a vehicle traveling north on Interstate 85. Authorities said the driver was believed to be wanted on active warrants from Maryland.

Deputies found the vehicle near Exit 177 and conducted a felony traffic stop with assistance from the Georgia State Patrol. Officials identified the driver as 37-year-old Brown, who was taken into custody without incident.

Authorities said two young children were inside the vehicle and were safely recovered. The children were not injured, according to officials.

The Hart County Sheriff’s Office said Brown was wanted by the Baltimore County Police Department on warrants related to the missing child investigation. She was also wanted by the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office on felony charges of interference with child custody.

Officials confirmed the warrants were valid, and Maryland authorities said they planned to seek Brown’s extradition. Hart County Sheriff Chris Carroll thanked the agencies involved for their efforts in recovering the children and making the arrest.

The arrest happened shortly after her husband, Big Tigger, whose real name is Darian Morgan, announced he was stepping away from his V-103 morning radio show to focus on his family and legal matters.

Morgan said he would take a leave from “The Big Tigger Morning Show” while allowing his legal team to handle the issues surrounding him. He has denied any wrongdoing.

The announcement came after Morgan’s co-host Francesca Amiker filed a defamation lawsuit against Brown. Amiker accused Brown of making false claims about her relationship with Morgan and suggesting their professional connection helped her get her position at the radio station.

Morgan also faced legal trouble after his June 20 arrest by the Sandy Springs Police Department. He was charged with aggravated battery and third-degree cruelty to children, but he denied the allegations. The case remains pending.
