Kissimmee, FL — The Society of Elite Resume Writers (SERW) is excited to announce its inaugural virtual conference, September 24 and 25, 2020. CareerCon 2020 is SERW’s and the resume writing industry’s first-ever virtual conference to feature an all African American speaker lineup of nationally based resume writers and career coaches.
The event’s goal is to provide pandemic-proof job search strategies to those recently furloughed, laid off, or searching for new career opportunities during the pandemic.
This free online event will consist of eight educational session topics, including virtual interviewing, LinkedIn networking, resume writing, soft skills development, personal branding, salary negotiation, and strategic job searching. All speakers are active members of the Society of Elite Resume Writers with expertise in resume writing, LinkedIn profiles, cover letters, interviewing, networking, salary negotiating and other career development topics.
Speakers will include Ashley Watkins, Job Search Coach and Nationally Certified Résumé Writer with Write Step Résumés; Tea Cooper, Interview & Career Strategist, Author of Dominate Your Career – A Guide To Help You Get The Job You Want; Brianna Watts, Resume Writer, Career And Business Consultant; Justina Butler, Nationally Certified Resume Writer, Career Coach and Founder of Career Suite, Career Consulting Firm; Shanica Roberts, Certified Professional Resume Writer and Career Coach; Charisse Green, Professional Resume Writer, Career Consultant and Founder of C. Green Career Consulting; Danielle Holmes, Professional Resume Writer and Owner of Career Services by Elle; and Ashlee Jones, The Recruiting Guru, HR Professional, Career Strategist, Personal Branding Consultant, and Diversity & Inclusion Champion.
The two-day event will be held entirely online, so participants can conveniently participate anywhere they have access to a computer and the Internet.
