Nationwide — More ambitious African American women than ever before are finally finding their way as entrepreneurs in the multi-billion dollar human hair market. Many are buying wholesale high-quality wigs, weaves, and extensions from China and reselling them for a profit of up to 500%.

China has long been the largest manufacturer of hair in the world, and the internet has made doing business there extremely easy.
