Biracial Man from Ohio Shares Video of His White Mom Calling Him the N-Word

Nationwide — Julie Marie Windle, a white mother and nurse from Toledo, Ohio, appears in a viral video where she yells a racial slur at her biracial son, Brian Windle. The video spread online after ge posted it on Facebook, quickly drawing wide attention.

Brian shared the clip showing a heated confrontation at their home, as reported by Atlanta Black Star. In the video, he records his mother on the porch while she repeatedly shouts a racial slur. He reacted in shock, asking viewers to hear what was being said and pointing out the situation on camera.

“Stupid n****r. Fu*king n***r,” Julie screams from the porch.

Brian responds while filming, saying, “Yup, that’s right. That’s Julie for y’all. We postin that s**t,” as the argument continues. He also adds, “Y’all might be right at UTMC; she is racist.”

Julie is also heard shouting, “Tell everybody. I don’t care. Get out of my house!” before walking away as the short video ends.

In the caption of his post, Brian said his mother works as a nurse director at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He also alleged that she is under investigation for racist behavior at work, though he did not give further details about any specific case.

Brian wrote, “This is my mom. She has been doing and saying things like this my whole life.”

He also claimed in his posts that his mother has used his identity in situations meant to deflect racism accusations, including comments he described as performative when around Black family members. He said his own children are now witnessing the situation unfold.

Reactions spread across social media after the video was posted. Some users urged others to report the incident to her employer and nursing board, while others expressed support for Brian and referenced his personal experience within the family.

Brian later shared updates saying he is trying to move out and is looking for a place to live. He also started an online fundraiser to help him and his two young sons leave the home and become independent.

Some social media users claimed she had been placed on leave, but there has been no official confirmation of any disciplinary action.
