Nationwide — Actor/comedian Chris Tucker says he has stayed celibate for more than three years, sharing the update during a Las Vegas comedy set where he also joked about love, marriage, and how people react to his personal life.
According to TMZ, Tucker performed at The Wynn in Las Vegas, Nevada, where audience members had to secure their phones before the show. The no-phone setup kept the performance private as he spoke freely about personal topics.
During the set, he told the crowd he had avoided sex for three years while focusing on finding a serious relationship. He explained that he is aiming for marriage and wants to build something long-term rather than casual.
He also shared that not everyone around him believes his claim, including people in his own family. He mentioned his niece, saying, “She believes in aliens, but she don’t believe I did that.”
Tucker then talked about how some women reacted when he mentioned not being sexually active. He joked that a few asked him, “How much is it?” before he clarified that he is not selling anything and is simply celibate.
He added more humor by admitting that loneliness sometimes creeps in, leading him to joke around by trying to “flirt” with Siri and Alexa. The comments drew laughs from the crowd and became one of the lighter moments of the night.
