Black Woman-Owned Coloring Book Company Launches First-Ever Inspirational Colored Pencils

Color outside the lines!

Nationwide — Latoya Nicole, founder and CEO of the melanin-friendly coloring book brand, Entrepreneurs Color Too, has now added inspirational colored pencils to her line of products. She founded the company in 2018 after being frustrated that women of color weren’t adequately represented in the book industry. “I want women and the young girls that look up to them to feel empowered. I want them to know that they are included, celebrated and represented, because representation matters,” she said in a statement.

“The idea to manufacture pencils came when I couldn’t find any Black-owned colored pencils to recommend to my community to use with my adult coloring books. I took that as a sign that I needed to find a way to produce them. But, I knew I wanted the pencils to be encouraging and to be used as a reminder to put you first because you matter,” said Latoya.

The set comes in 12 assorted colors which have inspirational sayings like “Self Care” and “Good Vibes” as the color names. The pre-sharpened wood pencils are the perfect gift for coloring, sketching, writing, and drawing. The product is manufactured from non-toxic materials so that they are environmentally friendly. Perfect for creative women of all ages.

Entrepreneurs Color Too is a coloring book company aiming to inspire women of color and celebrate diversity.
