Father and 2 Daughters, Founders of a Black-Owned Potato Chip Brand, Celebrate 50,000 Bags Sold in Less Than One Year!

To celebrate their recent milestone as entrepreneurs, Dondre Anderson and his two daughters will be making an appearance at the upcoming Essence Music Festival to share their story.

Atlanta, GASymphony Potato Chips, a Black-owned family business based in Atlanta, Georgia continues to make major moves in the industry. The company owned by a father, Dondre Anderson, and his two daughters Amina and Amari, is already getting daily orders from all over the country. And just recently, they sold their 50,000th bag of chips.

The gluten-free chips, sold in individual quantities as well as wholesale orders, are made with potatoes, cottonseed oil, salt, and a special mix of onions, garlic, parsley and other ingredients to add flavor.

The Anderson family is getting all kinds of national attention for their business success. They will be making an appearance at the upcoming ESSENCE® Path to Power: Entrepreneurship and Business Conference in New Orleans, which will take place as part of the ESSENCE® Music Festival on July 6 and 7th.

They will also be interviewed by US Black Chambers, Inc. (USBC) – an association of over 100 self sustaining, viable Black Chambers across the country.

In addition, Amina and Amari will be address aspiring entrepreneurs at the YWCA on how they were able to be come successful young black female entrepreneurs.

During each of their appearances, they will be telling their inspirational story and giving away free potato chips for people to sample.
