Nationwide — Basketball prodigy Alijah Arenas was rushed to the hospital after a fiery crash involving a burning Tesla Cybertruck in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. A bystander’s video shows Arenas rolling in pain moments after being pulled from the burning vehicle.Arenas, 18, reportedly crashed around 5 AM Thursday after losing control of his Tesla, hitting a fire hydrant and crashing into a tree. The car immediately caught fire. A nearby resident who heard the crash rushed outside and found Arenas trapped inside the burning car.

According to TMZ, bystanders managed to pull the shirtless, shoeless teen from the car and place him on the road. A video shows him rolling in pain in a puddle, visibly struggling to breathe. Emergency responders later placed him on a stretcher and took him to a nearby hospital.

Authorities confirmed Arenas was in stable condition, though no additional medical details were provided. His mother, Laura Govan, shared a message on Instagram, asking for prayers for her son.
