Nationwide — Jayden Bledsoe, an 18-year-old African American student from Little Rock, Arkansas, has earned a perfect score on the national Spanish exam. He was the only one in the entire state to achieve a flawless score.
Bledsoe, a junior at Parkview Arts and Science Magnet High School, expected some challenges, especially with the listening section and various accents, but was surprised to score 100%.
“I truly never knew there could be a 100%,” Kratzke told Fox 16. “When I took it, I didn’t score that.”
His Spanish teacher, Robin Kratzke, was equally impressed, saying she never thought a perfect score was possible.
Jayden credits his success to long hours of studying and his teacher’s support. He also said the hands-on class projects, especially the ones that involved speaking Spanish, kept him engaged and motivated to learn.. Now, Bledsoe proudly wears his gold medal for his achievement.
What’s more, he has secured a full scholarship to the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he plans to study computer science.
