Black Mom and Daughter Found Dead in Georgia, Boyfriend Arrested

Ra'Dashia and Virginia Boston

Nationwide — Ra’Dashia Boston and her mother, Virginia, were found dead in their apartment in Warner Robins, Georgia, in what police say is a domestic violence case. The suspect, Ra’Dashia’s boyfriend, was arrested the same day and now faces murder charges.

Ra’Dashia, 29, and her mother, Virginia, 49, were discovered inside their apartment at The Pines complex on Houston Lake Road. Ra’Dashia’s 5-year-old son found the bodies and told a neighbor, who then called 911.

According to 11 Alive, Houston County deputies arrested 29-year-old Rashad Williams, Ra’Dashia’s boyfriend, that afternoon. Authorities tracked him to an abandoned farmhouse in Warwick. He is now being held at the Houston County Jail, charged with two counts of murder.

Ra’Dashia’s sister, Nomeil Tucker, described Virginia as calm and caring. She said Ra’Dashia was studying nursing while raising her son. Tucker is now seeking custody of her nephew.

“I’m just trying to stay strong for my nephew and get him home. I’m just trying to stay focused on getting him home,” Tucker said.

Neighbors expressed shock over the incident and sympathy, saying this kind of violence was unexpected in their area.

Police have not yet released details on how the women died. Tucker is urging people in abusive relationships to seek help.

“If you or someone you know is experiencing any verbal, physical, or emotional abuse, please get help,” she said.
