Nationwide — R&B singer Ginuwine has announced his engagement to 28-year-old Miami realtor Jannette Escartin. The couple confirmed the proposal and shared that it took place in Washington, D.C.
Escartin said Ginuwine, 55, proposed a few weeks ago during their time in Washington, D.C., and she accepted. Both described the moment as exciting as they prepared for the next chapter of their lives together.
According to TMZ, the couple first met in South Florida a couple of years ago. They kept their relationship mostly private, choosing to build their connection away from public attention.
Signs of their relationship surfaced recently when Ginuwine commented “Mine ❤️” on one of Escartin’s Instagram posts. The post quickly gained attention and sparked conversation among fans.
Before this engagement, Ginuwine was married to rapper Solé. They tied the knot in 2003 and finalized their divorce in 2015, but continued co-parenting after their split.
