Nationwide — “Pray” is the new official music video from soul music artist and musician Tom Chappell (aka TN’T Trish N’ Tom). The song and music video has an international appeal and was directed by veteran actor and director Joseph H. James Jr. “Pray” has a heart thumping soulful sound that penetrates the heart with an inspirational fervor.
“When Tom sent me over the song Pray, I immediately fell in love with the simplicity of the lyrics and retro funk sound. I knew from the first listen that I wanted to direct a music video and incorporate cinematic visuals that would intertwine with this hot song. The message is so needed in the world we live in today,” says James.
“Pray” was written and recorded to be a song that uplifts the listener. It plainly tells a story of prayer and being thankful for life’s blessings. “Pray” is Tom’s first release since the passing of his soulmate, wife, music partner and lead singer of TN’T, Trish Chappell (aka Trish). Bob Davis at soul-patrol.com has described the music as “Mind Expanding Soul”. Tom admires the description, but for himself simply describes it as Good Music. Previously released albums written and produced by TN’T are “Sweet Like Honey”, “Something Good”, “Don’t Let Go” and “Today”.
Tom is currently writing and recording new music for release in 2018. Some of the tracks you can expect to here are “This 1s For You”, “Dance to the Music” and “Beauty”. The new music will be released in memory of Trish (Trish N’ Tom). Live performance and touring dates for 2018 are forthcoming. Tom is also composing and working with director Joseph H. James Jr., along with composers Gil Small, Robin Small, Randy Wilson, Martin Caba and Monet Dunham on a Broadway bound musical.
