Nationwide — Rondell Sheridan, known for his role on That’s So Raven, has been in the hospital for weeks due to pancreatitis. He is now asking fans for support as he recovers and deals with medical bills.In a recent social media update, Sheridan revealed that he first went to the hospital in April while on the road. Doctors initially misdiagnosed his condition as a gastric issue and discharged him. But just days later, he was readmitted and properly diagnosed with pancreatitis.
According to TMZ, he spent nine days in the hospital before being released. Although he is now home, his pancreas remains inflamed, and he is unable to work until he fully recovers. To help with medical costs, Sheridan launched a GoFundMe page, which has raised nearly $54,000.
Sheridan, who rose to fame playing Victor Baxter on That’s So Raven, has also appeared in shows like Cory in the House and Raven’s Home. He’s also made appearances on The Jamie Foxx Show, Kenan & Kel, Cousin Skeeter, and A Different World.
A spokesperson for Sheridan thanked fans for their generous support, emphasizing that he is resting comfortably and in good hands with doctors.
“He is extremely humbled by the love and support everyone has shown him during this difficult time,” his spokesperson said.
They also addressed speculation online, confirming that Sheridan’s illness is not related to drugs or alcohol, as he actively avoids both.
