Black Hairstylist of 30 Years Launches Personalized Hair Coaching Services on Zoom and In-Person

Angela Brown

Nationwide — Angela Brown, a well-known entrepreneur and hairstylist from Memphis, Tennessee, has been in the beauty industry for over 30 years, specializing in healthy hair care. In 2016, she identified a need to create a blueprint for restoring hair loss caused by conditions such as alopecia, damaged natural or chemically broken bonds, and thinning hair. Angela noticed the abundance of hair products on the market, but when her D’Serv Healthy Hair Care Products were introduced to shelves, salons, and her e-commerce platform, they struggled to stand out. To achieve real results, Angela realized she needed to coach her customers on how to use the products effectively.

This initiative marks the first time in history that a hair care professional has taken the lead in transforming the lives of customers through personalized coaching. Angela provides hands-on guidance, helping her clients avoid falling back into ineffective routines. She gains a clear understanding of her customers’ lifestyles and, if they choose to share, their medical histories. From there, she begins offering hope and tailored coaching. Angela leaves no detail overlooked, explaining when hair grows, the optimal body temperature for growth, and how reducing stress can contribute to healthier hair. She emphasizes the importance of early detection for reversing hair loss, as waiting too long can complicate the process of regaining hair.

Angela also highlights the risks of denial when addressing hair health. Being proactive and following her treatments can make a significant difference, as her methods are designed to reverse hair loss and improve overall hair care practices.

Angela researched online, in 2019, a specialist in healthy hair care conducted research based on a 2016 case study involving 5,594 black women. The study found that 47.6% of these women experienced hair loss on the crown area, known as CCCA Traction Alopecia, and did not seek treatment. According to Head Covers Unlimited, many are unaware of effective treatments. Angela Brown, a Hair Coach, believes the actual numbers might be higher. She observed that many black women opt for wigs, weaves, and protective styles that may not be safe when experiencing hair loss.

Angela has developed successful protective styles that are both fashionable and safe, promoting hair growth with her coaching and D’Serv Healthy Hair Care Products. One of her top-selling products is the Damage Reversal Elixir Oil, which aims to regrow weakened hair and reduce excessive shedding by providing moisture. Angela Brown is committed to her work, believing that positive coaching and plant-based products can significantly impact individuals.
