Nationwide — Dr. Chanell Dingle-Sermon, a proud alumna of South Carolina State University and accomplished education leader, has been officially named Ms. Southern States 2025 by United Crown of America, a groundbreaking new national pageant platform. She is the first woman ever appointed to represent the Southern States region and the first accepted into the organization’s historic inaugural class of queens.
A multi-award-winning educator, certified life coach, and CEO of a thriving nonprofit, Dr. Chanell continues to break barriers and inspire others. Her new title marks another milestone in her journey of empowerment, leadership, and service. As Ms. Southern States 2025, she will compete in the first-ever national United Crown of America pageant on September 21, 2025, representing the Southern region with distinction.

Delegates from all 50 states will vie for the national crown, embodying the organization’s values of excellence, purpose, and professionalism.
Dr. Chanell’s academic background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Art Education from South Carolina State University (HBCU), a Master’s Degree in General Education Cognate from Liberty University, and a Doctorate in Education with a Specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University.
