Black Entrepreneur Partners With Major Hospital, Selling Her Hair Care Products in the Gift Shop

Cindy Tawiah, Founder of Diva By Cindy

Nationwide — Cindy Tawiah, the founder of Diva By Cindy, has partnered with St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland to market her hair care brand in their gift shop. The goal of the partnership is to promote Cindy’s healing products which are renowned for preventing shedding and breakage while promoting hair growth to customers.

This marks a significant milestone, as the hospital has never carried any Black or minority-owned brands. Cindy is celebrating a full circle moment because 21 years ago she was employed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with St. Agnes Hospital. Now, she has come full circle and is offering healing to women in a different capacity. Today, Cindy has found her purpose by creating a natural alcohol-free hair care brand that is available in major stores.

Cindy Tawiah is an international entrepreneur who created the Diva by Cindy brand. The mission of Diva by Cindy is to heal, restore, and transform the lives of women so that they feel special and unique, and their beauty is restored from the inside out with natural products. Diva by Cindy is the first ever multiethnic hair and skin care brand to specialize in natural products and services. This brand has been featured all over the world in venues such as the Baltimore Washington International (BWI) airport, Black Enterprise magazine, the Drew Barrymore show, and in Ghana, Accra. Diva by Cindy has also launched “The Diva Day Spa and Healing Center” focusing on the wellness, transformation, and healing of women. The Diva Day Spa offers traditional services such as sauna treatments, foot detox, and other spa services for individuals and couples.

Cindy made history with the first-ever Natural Hair Care Vending Machine at BWI airport. Beyond its groundbreaking products, Diva By Cindy also contributes to the community through the Diva Project Program, which aids homeless women and victims of domestic violence.
