Nationwide — Dr. Jude Opoku-Agyeman, an award-winning board-certified Black plastic and reconstructive surgeon and the Founder of Opoku Plastic Surgery, is celebrating that his practice has been recognized by the Philadelphia Inquirer as a city favorite for both cosmetic surgery and liposuction.

Dr. Opoku-Agyeman, who performs major surgeries on high profile clientele from across the globe, says that he is honored to be recognized by the state of Pennsyvania’s largest and most respected news publication. He comments, “This award is an attestation to the excellent care that my practice extends to our patients.”

Dr. Opoku-Agyeman completed his medical education at Des Moines University in Iowa. Later, he pursued a fellowship in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the top-notch Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

When he first opened his practice, it became an immediate success for patients who desire cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He attributes his success to his staff including Dr. Allen, Kiane Ruthner, PA-C, Carole Sherman, and Bozena Bonneau. He now has two offices in the Philly suburbs – one located in Bala Cynwyd and the other located in Feasterville.
