Nationwide — Entrepreneur, author, and community arts advocate Kiva Constance Williams has teamed up with her young daughter, Nia Constance Imani Williams, to co-author their first children’s book, Did You Know God Made You Beautiful? (ISBN: 978-1-961650-38-1), now available in print and digital formats on Amazon.
This heartfelt picture book was inspired by real conversations between Kiva and Nia during their daily routines, simple moments that blossomed into powerful affirmations of self-worth and love. In the book, young readers join Nia as she asks her mother endearing questions like “Mommy, do you like my hair?” and learns that every part of her, from her hair, eyes, nose, lips, and skin,is beautifully made by God.
“Writing this book with my daughter was such a special experience,” says Kiva Williams. “I wanted Nia and all children to know that they are wonderfully made, just as they are. Our hope is that families use this story as a way to build confidence, faith, and self-love from an early age.”
Vibrantly illustrated by Anastasia Magloire Williams, the book blends playful dialogue with meaningful lessons about identity and self-esteem. Did You Know God Made You Beautiful? encourages parents, caregivers, and educators to nurture confidence through positive affirmation and love rooted in faith.
