Nationwide — For over three decades, entrepreneur and advocate for women’s empowerment, Ola Jackson, is relaunching her brand of social media platforms aimed at reshaping the narrative around aging for Black women who are navigating midlife and beyond. Through her Your Stylish Ways brand, the founder of OWN: Onyx Woman Network, is reviving her YouTube channel, Instagram presence, and lifestyle-focused blog whose mission is to challenge outdated stereotypes and offer a fresh perspective for women who are reinventing themselves as they evolve into a new stage of life arming them with self-confidence and self-acceptance.
This initiative is to support women through what she calls the “I’m Not Done Yet!” movement, which is a rallying cry for women to hold themselves accountable for their own happiness.
“The visibility of older Black women is underrepresented in our society,” says Jackson, who recently celebrated her 65th birthday. “My message is about reclaiming our space and showing up and investing in ourselves. We’re not invisible, we’re invincible.”
Drawing on her decades of marketing and publishing experience, Jackson pivoted from her magazine background to build digital platforms made specifically for women like herself who were coming of age and in need of what she considers later-in-life motivation.
Although she initially delayed her plans, a candid conversation with a friend confronting the emotional realities of aging changed everything. That friend’s simple question—“What about me?”—sparked Jackson’s desire to create age-positive communities where women can reimagine their worth and turn a potential crisis into a collective crusade. Jackson wants anti-aging to be a thing of the past.
Her three flagship digital formats include:
• The NEW Network TV YouTube Channel – Style videos on repurposing wardrobe pieces, beauty tutorials, financial insights, and interviews with women who are starting new adventures.
• @YourStylishWays on Instagram – Showcases how to embrace aging in how you live through style inspirations and realistic beauty expectations. Also, tips on how to repurpose and restyle clothing and your home décor to create a signature ageless style.
• Your Stylish Ways Blog – Ola documents her aging journey and shares practical lifestyle advice and relatable stories that resonate with women seeking stylish, simplified lifestyles in a community of like-minded women.
