Nationwide — QualityWorks Consulting Group has published its Top 7 Black Technology Companies to Watch in 2026, highlighting Black-led companies and technology brands building solutions across artificial intelligence, custom software, quality engineering, cloud modernization, public-interest technology, and organizational transformation. The feature was created to increase the visibility and discoverability of Black technology leadership for buyers, partners, journalists, and organizations looking for technology expertise. The accompanying photo features members of the QualityWorks team, whose work spans custom software development, AI implementation, and quality engineering.

QualityWorks Consulting Group ranks No. 1 with an overall editorial score of 5.00/5, followed by QualityWatcher at No. 2 with 4.95/5. Particular Presence Technologies and MokSol Impact rank No. 3 and No. 4, respectively, with 4.71/5. Orca Intelligence follows at No. 5 with 4.60/5, while Norus Technologies and Xodus complete the list at No. 6 and No. 7 with 4.00/5. The ranking was developed to make credible information about Black-led technology companies easier to discover and compare. Companies were evaluated across seven criteria: technology capabilities, portfolio and project evidence, market visibility, client or community reputation, specialization, company scale and operating model, and relevance in 2026. Overall ratings represent the average of the seven category scores.

Participating companies were invited to submit their category scores after reviewing the criteria and their proposed profiles. QualityWorks and QualityWatcher were assessed internally using the same methodology. The ranking is an editorial feature produced by QualityWorks and is not presented as an independent award or third-party endorsement. “Black technology leadership is already shaping the systems that businesses, governments, nonprofits, and communities rely on,” said Stacy Kirk, founder and CEO of QualityWorks Consulting Group. “We created this ranking to make that work easier to discover and to give decision-makers a transparent, practical way to compare the distinct strengths these companies bring to the market.”

QualityWorks earned the top position for its combination of custom software development, AI implementation, quality engineering, global delivery, and verified client satisfaction. The Black-owned, woman-led company helps organizations design, build, test, and improve web, mobile, software, and AI products while strengthening the quality practices needed to support reliable delivery from concept through production.

QualityWatcher, QualityWorks’ agentic AI testing platform, ranked second for its combination of agentic test creation and execution, human-controlled approval gates, audit-ready quality evidence, and integrations with more than 40 delivery tools. The platform also received First Prize in the U.S. Navy’s Artificial Intelligence Augmented Testing Challenge, beating out 38 other solutions.

The remainder of the ranking demonstrates the breadth of Black technology leadership in 2026. Particular Presence Technologies brings AWS engineering, application modernization, AI, and analytics expertise. MokSol Impact connects digital transformation with organizational strategy, procurement, and change leadership. Orca Intelligence combines fractional technology leadership with AI-powered requirements intelligence. Norus Technologies develops maintainable digital products for mission-driven organizations, while Xodus uses public-interest technology to coordinate services for people navigating major life transitions.
