Natiownide — Author Waldo Theus is celebrating a new chapter in his literary journey as the owner of The Theus Publishing Group LLC, an independent publishing company dedicated to sharing inspirational stories rooted in faith, family, perseverance, and personal growth. Through his company, he is making available four books that pay tribute to his parents while offering encouragement to readers facing life’s challenges.
Founded as a platform for uplifting literature, The Theus Publishing Group showcases books that began as heartfelt letters to family members and close friends before evolving into inspirational works for a broader audience. Drawing from his own life experiences, Theus hopes his writings will encourage families, strengthen communities, and inspire readers around the world to overcome adversity, grief, and difficult circumstances with faith, hope, and resilience.
His first book, A Mother’s Touch, honors the memory of his beloved mother. What began as a series of emails to his sisters while planning their mother’s memorial grew into a collection of reflections celebrating the importance of honoring parents and loved ones. The book also reflects on the support Theus received from his father, wife, son, and friends as they navigated the pain, anger, and grief following his mother’s passing.
In Our Father’s Spirit, Theus celebrates the life of his father by sharing memories of his sacrifices, work ethic, humor, wisdom, and unwavering love. Filled with messages of hope, perseverance, and faith, the book reminds readers that life’s greatest rewards often come through endurance and encourages them to “never give up.”
His third book, Women of the Light, recognizes the influence of spiritually grounded women whose guidance helped shape his life. Through a collection of reflective letters, Theus explores how positive influences can lead people toward greater peace, purpose, and joy during life’s most difficult moments.
The fourth title, Our Little Acorn Tree, focuses on growth and the importance of building a strong foundation in life. Using the symbolism of a growing tree, Theus encourages readers to understand their roots, remain grounded in their values, and recognize that every meaningful accomplishment requires time, patience, effort, sacrifice, or financial investment.
Throughout the collection, Theus shares deeply personal experiences, including overcoming the trauma of childhood molestation, earning recognition as one of the Top 100 high school football players in Texas and Arkansas, and retiring after a 27-year career as a Lead Building Engineer. These experiences form the foundation for a series of books designed to help readers avoid allowing negative circumstances, poor decisions, harmful influences, or personal setbacks to derail their growth, family relationships, or purpose in life.
Theus says his journey continues to inspire new writing. His fifth book, You’re All I Need!, is currently in development and is expected to be completed in the fall of 2026, continuing his mission of sharing messages of faith, healing, and hope with future generations.
