Houston is no novice to the publishing industry. She has more than 20 years of experience as an executive editor for an award-winning national publication and an international magazine. She is the founder of Vision Resources, Inc., the parent company of Alabaster Box Media Group, a management consulting firm for profit and nonprofit organizations. A graduate of Capital University with a BA degree in art therapy, Houston earned a MA degree from The Ohio State University in labor and human resource management. Additionally, she gives back to the community through grant writing for national and local nonprofit organizations.
