Nationwide — Alicia Hughes, a woman who works as a secretary at a high school in Union City, Ohio, was arrested after her husband caught her with one of her students. Police later discovered she had a sexual relationship with another minor as well.
According to WLBT, Hughes’s husband found her with an 18-year-old student and called authorities right away. This led to an investigation that revealed more troubling behavior.
During the investigation, police learned Hughes had also been involved with a 17-year-old student. Evidence showed the sexual relationship had happened multiple times.
Authorities confirmed Hughes engaged in sexual intercourse with the 17-year-old student on at least five occasions. These actions resulted in serious criminal charges.
Hughes was arrested and now faces five counts of child seduction. She is being held at Randolph County Jail on a $25,000 cash-only bond while her case moves forward.
