Amber Alert Issued for Two Missing Black Siblings from Florida

Nationwide Aizon Turner, 3, and Akachi Turner, 11, African American boys from Palm Beach, Florida, are missing after authorities said they were taken by their mother, who does not have custody. An Amber alert has since been issued statewide.

According to Newsweek, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement reported that the brothers disappeared from a foster home on West Sixth Street in Riviera Beach. They were last seen with their mother, 43-year-old Audrey Turner.

Authorities said Turner has an active arrest warrant in Miami for child neglect. She is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 180 pounds. She may be wearing a black tank top with a cream skirt striped in black, has a nose ring, and could have her hair tied in a ponytail.

Akachi is 5 feet tall, weighs 72 pounds, and was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and high-top Fila sneakers. Aizon is 3 feet tall, weighs about 32 pounds, and was last seen in a khaki shirt, khaki shorts, and black light-up shoes with red trim.

Investigators believe Turner may be driving a black Toyota sedan with front-end damage. Another unidentified woman could also be with them. Police said the group might be traveling toward the Atlanta area.

The Amber Alert comes weeks after a separate case in New York, where 9-year-old Melina Frattolin was found dead in a pond after being reported missing. Her father was later charged with her murder.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Aizon and Akachi Turner to call law enforcement immediately.
