Nationwide — Anna Kane, former wife of NHL player Evander Kane, is one of the women accusing music mogul Diddy of sexual assault in a lawsuit. The case, which dates back to when Anna was a teenager, has gained attention after she was forced to reveal her identity to move forward.“I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager. The defendants’ demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me,” Kane said in a statement, according to TMZ.
Anna’s lawsuit claims that in 2003 when she was just 17 years old, she was invited to New York by Harve Pierre, who at the time was the President of Bad Boy Entertainment. After meeting him in Detroit, she alleges that she was given drugs and alcohol before being assaulted by Diddy and others at a recording studio.
Her lawsuit includes photos she says prove her presence at the studio.
Although Diddy has denied the accusations, Anna remains determined to pursue the case.
Anna and Evander Kane married in 2018 and have one child together. They separated in 2021, and Evander has not been mentioned in the lawsuit.
