Nationwide — The annual Black Travel Summit is a conference, exhibition, awards gala, and global network for industry professionals and enthusiasts to exchange and generate ideas about collaborating with and expanding the ‘Black’ travel industry. Taking place virtually and in-person across several Hyatt properties in Miami Beach from January 13-16, 2022, the hybrid event will feature speaker sessions, workshops, tours, an awards gala, and an expo in the form of a grand bazaar. Trailblazers such as Erick Cedeno (founder of The Bicycle Nomad), Jeff Jenkins (founder of Chubby Diaries), Isis Breanna (the #1 Digital Marketing Strategist), and Travis Levius (Travel Journalist and content creator), are just some of those invited.
In addition to the grand summit, there will be several mini-summits held online that will showcase some of the top Black taste-makers, influencers, hospitality industry leaders, and travel lovers. These virtual events will take place throughout this year on June 5th, August 28th, and November 13th.
This year’s partners and sponsors include Hyatt Hotels, the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Seychelles Tourism Board, and others.
