Former Special Ed Student Earns Masters Degree, Becomes International Motivational Speaker

Nationwide — Meet Brad Butler II, a 33-year old man from Union, New Jersey, who went from being a special ed student for more than 10 years to now having earned his Master’s degree. He is also is the author of three books, an educational consultant, and an award-winning motivational speaker that travels the globe.As a young person in the public school system, Brad was often placed in special ed classes and was teased by his classmates for his “learning disabilities.” However, that did not stop him from pursuing his goal of being successful.

He first graduated from college at Kean University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree, and now holds a Master’s degree in counseling from Pillar College.

He also launched his own company called Brad Butler II & Associates, LLC, which helps students connect their dreams with their education and educators connect with their students using research-based strategies components of SEL and life experiences.

Brad comments, “My purpose in life is to motivate, inspire, and empower young people all around the world to live their dreams and put forth their best effort and everything they do.”

He is a certified speaker under Dr. Eric Thomas (also known as the Hip Hop Preacher), and has spent over eight years traveling from school to school presenting for students, athletes, and educators across the nation. He provides in-person and virtual presentations that are basically professional development workshops. He also coaches mentees on public speaking.

His goal is to help people become the best version of themselves. He encourages everyone to take full advantage of their opportunities living by his motto: “Make your next day your best day.”
