Nationwide — Rapper Cardi B has revealed the name of her youngest child with NFL player Stefon Diggs while celebrating his first birthday. She introduced her son as Grey Marsean Diggs in an Instagram post on November 4, sharing photos of the little boy and reflecting on how much he has changed her life. “Happy 1st birthday to Grey Marsean Diggs!!” she wrote. She also looked back on the time she carried him, explaining that she was going through an uncertain and stressful period but found strength in having him with her. “It’s only been 1 year since meeting you, but it feels like I’ve had you at my side forever,” she added.
The rapper also explained the special meaning she associates with her son’s name, according to E! News. “I was growing you inside of me and at the same time you were giving me life!” she wrote. She said he gave a new meaning to what a “Grey day” feels like, adding that his smile, laughter, and personality brighten her life. She also shared a Halloween photo of him wearing medical scrubs in front of a Grey’s Anatomy sign, making a playful reference to his name.
Although she had not revealed his name before, the 34-year-old confirmed his arrival in November 2025. She announced the news through a video of herself celebrating a new chapter in her life. “A new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me, one more reason to love me more than anything else or anyone else so I can continue giving my babies the love and life they deserve,” she wrote. She ended the post with the words, “This next chapter is Me vs. Me!”
Grey is her first child with Diggs, who plays wide receiver for the New England Patriots. She also shares three older children, Kulture, 8, Wave, 5, and Blossom, 2, with her estranged husband, rapper Offset. Shortly after announcing her youngest son’s arrival, she attended the launch of baby brand Cybex’s flagship store in New York City with Diggs. During the event, she said that she was keeping the baby’s name private but described it as “cute.” She also revealed that she had spent some time on bed rest after giving birth because the baby was heavy.
In another interview, the mother of four discussed the example she wants to set for her children. She explained that she wants them to learn to stand up for themselves by watching how she handles difficult situations. “I will stand up for myself,” she said. She added that she wants her children to see that “they mama ain’t no punk.”
