Celebrity Hairstylist Gives Hope To A Friend Battling Stage 4 Cancer

Los Angeles, CA — Recent research has shown in some cases, cancer is not always the cause of most deaths. Lack of funding for treatment can be to blame for some. When celebrity hairstylist, Stephanie D. Singleton of Los Angeles, took to social media to celebrate the launch of her new styling and maintenance product line SDH Collection (abbreviated for Stephanie Danine Hair), it was then that she would learn a childhood friend Carmen Harris of Akron Ohio was battling stage four cancer.

Instantly, her celebration took a turn from “Look what I’ve done!” to “How can I help my friend survive this evil disease?” That’s when Singleton came up with the idea to begin Carmen’s Angels, a fundraising campaign to help defray some the medical expenses Carmen will incur. Unfortunately, the support from the community to raise funds was not there, leaving Singleton with no other option but to promote SDH Collection as the sponsor for Carmen’s Angels by donating proceeds of sales to the campaign.

Since then, several independent beauty supply stores in Ohio, West Virginia and California have offered to promote the SDH Collection styling products in their stores.

Singleton says, “Carmen’s courageous spirits through this battle, is what drew her to wanting to join Carmen’s fight. However, she credits social media for bringing her and her long lost childhood friend together again after 26 years. “We all will need an Angel someday. What I find intriguing is, you may never know who that Angel might be.”
