Nationwide — Dr. Chanell Dingle-Sermon, an award-winning educator and pastor, is recognized as the Supreme Ms. National Elite Beauty USA for the Elite Beauty USA pageant platform. She is the first woman with a doctorate to win the “Supreme Ms.” division as a national winner of the Elite Beauty USA platform, as well as the first woman to represent South Carolina in the national “Supreme Ms.” division.
Dr. Sermon has secured seven optional titles upon receiving her national crown, including Ms. Congeniality, Talent, Interview, Achievement of Excellence, Overall Career Achievement, Glamorous Beauty, and Best Personality. In addition, she is the only queen in pageant history to have held a state and international crown at the same time without engaging in crown chasing. As for her plans during her reign, she says, “I plan to continue promoting awareness in the areas of mental health and issues related to it through my platform and ministries.” Concerning her presence in pageantry, Dr. Sermon has this to say: “I believe my success in pageantry comes from God because I would have never had the courage to do pageantry without Him in my life.”
She adds, “I’ve also learned in my pageant journey to know my worth and refuse to settle because it takes much resilience and determination to keep showing up, even when some platforms won’t give you a chance. So, I want to normalize women showing up in pageantry despite their surface qualities, embracing the uniqueness of their beauty, and partnering with platforms that genuinely respect who they are beyond the exterior since all queens are beautifully different.”
Her other accomplishments include being named National Miss Heart of the USA Lifetime Queen and winning the 2024 I AM H.E.R. International “Trailblazer of the Year” Award and the President’s Lifetime Achievement Award.
